Ever since Natalie posted about stockings and suspenders, I've been obsessed with getting some. Lol, saucy. Unfortunately my imminent joblessness is standing in between me and this particular desire but I'm sure there are months between now and thigh-exposing weather in Glasgow anyway.

This is how I would like to dress for work. I'm not very good at this, I never manage to get the smart/casual balance right and I usually stick to black. Worse still, I think all my working clothes are from Primark, in fact I can't remember buying anything new for wearing to work since last summer. Right now I'd love a nice blazer and I might even start looking for a pair of trousers again. (I gave up on this around 2006.) Why are all work trousers so ugly?
